Update on Brynna

I know everyone is wondering what happened with Brynna, so I thought I'd utilize this blog to get the word out quickly.

Last night she stopped breathing for what seemed like forever to me. In reality it was probably 10-20 seconds. It happened while she was in her bed and it seemed that she was trying to spit up. I am so grateful that my mom was there with me and was able to get her breathing again.

This was not the first scare I had with her seeming to choke or being unable to catch her breath while spitting up, so I was extremely concerned. I called our pediatrician who recommended we take her to the ER.

Again, so grateful that Becky and Michael were willing to come stay with Caden and mom was able to come with me.

We took her into Baptist's ER and after being examined they decided to send her to Arkansas Children's because they can better monitor and assess her here.

One short ambulance trip later and here we are. They have her on an apnea monitor and we are waiting in EKG, chest x ray, and blood results.

She is going great and sleeping well now. We should hopefully know mor later this afternoon.
